African Philanthropic Safaris
Our Philanthropic safaris are carefully designes and will enable you to enjoy East African's and Adjacent Indian Ocean Inslands tourism "hotspots" in style and comfort while at the sametime touch hearts of local peoples. The safaris have outreach programs that will enable you to learn the cultures of the visited destations, this is off the beaten track of mass tourism where tourists are chauffered from one tourist hotspot to another without taking time to learn and enjoy locals cultural heritage and hospitality.
These non- profit safaris are organized by African Pro-poor Tourism Foundation (APTF) in collaboration with its Kenyan Chapter- African Pro-poor Tourism Development Center (APTDC). Proceeds from these safaris are ploughed back to the community in the form of community projects. The safari will take you to some of the projects that we support through assistance from our donors and partners. Upon completion of the safari you will be presented with an authentic certificate to show that you traveled responsibly and touched the hearts of marginalized communities in Kenya.
